Civil CAD Designer/ CAD Technician

Job Description:

VEI is looking for a motivated CAD Designer / CAD Technician to join our growing team. 

If you enjoy creating detailed drawings, solving problems, and working on real-world projects that make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

This position works closely with our engineering and project teams to help turn ideas and field information into accurate, professional plans and designs.

FULL TIME

What you'll do:

• Create and update CAD drawings and layouts

• Assist with project plans and technical documents

• Work with engineers and project managers to keep projects moving

• Make revisions based on field notes and design updates

• Help organize and maintain project files

• Support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• At least ONE YEAR of AutoCAD experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines

• Civil 3D experience is a plus

• Previous CAD or drafting experience preferred
