Our team of professionals has designed over 90,000 LF, or over 17 miles, of underground storm sewer piping in sizes ranging from 10-inch to 72-inches in diameter. We have designed storm sewer systems for a range of projects including commercial projects, single-family residential projects, and private and municipal roadway projects. In addition to underground storm sewer, our team has designed numerous large box culvert, bridge structures and storm sewer lift stations.

VEI also has extensive experience designing detention facilities for an array of projects, ranging from single-family subdivisions to dense commercial and industrial developments. To date, VEI has designed detention facilities for over one million cubic feet (1,100,000 CF) of storm water storage covering over 35 acres of land. Our design experience includes typical basin storage design, underground storm sewer pipe detention under commercial parking lots and special designs that include separate filtration and settlement basins for environmentally sensitive areas.

In order to better serve our customers, the professionals at VEI develop Storm Water Pollution Prevention (SWPPP) programs and also perform SWPPP inspections for compliance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements for construction.
