1846 Apartments

1846 Apartments is a multifamily community on about 9 acres on Friendship Lane in Fredericksburg, planned for roughly 234 apartments in twelve buildings with elevators. It shares a subdivision with the senior living cottages next door, so much of the engineering was coordinated between the two tracts.

VEI provided the survey and civil engineering. We began with a boundary survey and a topographic and tree survey that extended 100 feet beyond the property line, as the City requires. We then prepared the preliminary plat and preliminary engineering for the City of Fredericksburg, a replat, and the civil construction documents: site plan, grading, drainage, utilities and erosion control. During construction, we provided staking for the building envelopes, curbs, sidewalks, and the water, sewer and communication utilities.
